Our promise

You can disagree. You cannot shame.

One rule holds this whole thing up. Everything below is how we keep it true - written plainly, because a safe space you have to read a policy to understand is not really one.

Your village is private

A small, private group of parents raising kids at a similar age and stage. Small enough that people remember your name and actually follow up.

Private by default

Nothing you post is public on the web or indexed by search engines. Anonymous posting is one tap away, any time.

Humans moderate

Real people read reports every single day. Shaming, advice-as-attack, and anything aimed at a child gets removed.

No ads, no data sale

We do not run ads and we do not sell information about your family. Subscriptions pay for Famsies. That is it.

In practice

What that looks like on an ordinary Tuesday.

"Have you tried just being consistent?"Removed. Advice that lands as a verdict is not advice.
"I did the exact same thing last week and felt awful about it too."This is the whole point of the app.
"I would handle that differently. Here is why - take it or leave it."Welcome. Disagreement is not the problem.
Anything naming, judging, or photographing someone else's child.Removed immediately, no warning.

Safety

When something is bigger than a village.

Some moments need more than perspective from other parents. Famsies is not therapy and it is not a crisis line. If a conversation heads somewhere serious, we surface local professional resources rather than letting the group carry what it was not built to hold. For anything clinical, please reach out to your pediatrician or a licensed professional. We mean that.
